Marrowstone Pottery is currently in development of Stove Top Pottery, also known as, flameware pottery which will be marketed under the brand names, "Furno" and "Furnoware". Prototypes of the Furnoware pottery line are currently being developed and tested and will soon be available by special order from this web site. Marrowstone Pottery is nestled in the woods on beautiful Marrowstone Island (Nordland, WA) and was established in 2003 by George and Helena Chechopoulos who are the resident owners and operators. The pottery is fully equipped and includes potters wheels, electric and gas kilns, extruder, slab roller, pug mill and plenty of table space. The pottery was made available to other Artists starting in 2004 for classes in tile making, pottery on the wheel, slip casting, hand building and sculpture.

A sales gallery is also located next to the studio and displays many of the works produced by the artists. This web site only displays a small selection of the work that is available for viewing and sale. Our Studio and Gallery are available for touring and sales most days of the week but it is always a good idea to call ahead to make sure that we are in.
